Our solutions for visitors with special needs

For visually impaired persons
We make audio guides with audio descriptive commentaries ready for each exhibition held in the Arsenal.
We also regularly hold guided tours with audio descriptive commentaries making use of tactile modelling. To get yourself listed for a guided tour of an exhibition that interests you, please call +7 909 291 44 02 (Svetlana).

For hearing impaired persons
We make video guides with commentaries in the sign language ready for each exhibition held in the Arsenal.

For mentally or intellectually challenged persons

Infrastructure facilities

Ramps
The building of the Arsenal has two external ramps. Trough one, you can access the right wing of the museum where we hold exhibitions. Near this ramp you can find the button for calling a staff member for help. Through the other ramp you can access the left wing of the museum where at the first level are the multimedia library and lecture hall and at the second level the concert hall. To use the left ramp please contact us on the phone + 7 (831) 422 45 54 beforehand to inform us about your visit, and we will be meeting you.

Lifts
In both the left and the right wing of the Arsenal we have freight elevators suitable for transporting people in wheelchairs or with perambulators. If you have difficulty finding the lift, please contact the reception or security staff, and they will help you.

Room for baby feeding and diaper changing
In the right wing of the building where we hold exhibitions, near the cloakroom in the semi-basement there is a specially designed room for feeding the baby and changing diapers.

Guide dogs
We always welcome guide dogs accompanying the visually impaired. The door of the right wing where we hold exhibitions has a special mark. Our staff have been instructed on the rules of behaviour when meeting a guide dog.

Toilet room for persons who use a wheelchair
The toilet room suitable for a person using a wheelchair is located in the left wing of the Arsenal at the office zone on the first level. To use the toilet room, please contact the reception staff in any wing of the Arsenal and ask them to guide you.
